About Me
About me. Sounds strange doesn’t it on a blog. What about me? Isnt’ a blog all about me? Well okay, no, perhaps not but i’m still trying to work out what a blog is for. Until then, i’ll get on with the usual.
I’m Andy Feltham. I’m 25 ( at time of writing ) and i’m an enthusiastic, competitive, and motivated individual. I spend my time doing lots of things. I work for IBM where i’m a cross between a developer, team leader and manager. I exhibit all the qualities of those roles yet somehow manage to avoid any of the ( formal ) responsibilities. I play ultimate. I used to really play ultimate, but now i just play. I’d like to say now i just play for fun, but i’ve always played for fun, as even when i was competing it was fun because i’m competitive. Recently i’ve started developing, leading and managing a team in Hursley called HUC. I enjoy DIY, although not always while i’m doing it. I like seeing the fruits of my work and live in the hope that i’ve added value to my house. Which nicely brings me on to my 1900’s house in which i live. Its filled with wine, dvds, pcs, and fish. I have a pasion for fish. In fact i think i was a fish in a previous life. I love swimming and can swim for hours. I scuba dive and feel like nothing could bother me. I have a tropical fish tank and name ( some of ) my fish. I think they know me – they all come to see me when i get home. I’d love to have a salt water tank but that requires time and unfortunately time is not something i have. I fill my life with as much as i can. I enjoy making the most of every hour and ‘treat my body like an amuzement park’. I’ve broken my arm twice and have 6 inches…….. of metal in my arm from the first incident with the sports hall floor. If you’d like me to show you the other 6 inches then let me know – i have it in a drawer along with the 6 screws that are now loose. I don’t know what the meaning of life is but i’m pretty conviced that whatever it is, i’m the only person that can achieve it for me.
Things i like : friends, family, wine, ultimate, technology, gadgets, football, sun, sand, sea, snow, scuba, skiing, music, tools, money, time, taking photos, teaching, coaching, playing guitar ( even though i can’t play much ), chinese food, swimming, sleep and having lots to do.
Things i don’t like : being late, when things go wrong, not having things under control, cricket.
Things that i want to do : own a Z4, have a profitable company, build my own house, become a diving instructor, learn to play the guitar properly, be a manager, have kids, own a house abroad.
